Job summary

AC & CS ADVANCED COGNITIVE AND CLINICAL behav ioral health team in California is seeking a Board-Certified PMHNP-BC to join our in-person program across Riverside County facilities. The role requires travel between sites and active CA licensure with DEA registration or willingness to obtain it, to provide comprehensive psychiatric care.

Qualifications

• Board Certification as PMHNP-BC
• Active or eligible licensure in California
• Active DEA registration for California, or willingness to obtain before prescribing
• Strong proficiency in clinical documentation and treatment planning
• Outpatient behavioral health experience; ER/urgent care/acute settings is a plus
• Ability to work with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders
• Excellent communication for patient education and collaborative care
• Willingness to travel between Riverside County facilities

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations across the lifespan
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including medication management and psychotherapy
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications in compliance with regulations
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams
• Provide clinical oversight to behavioral health staff and conduct bi-weekly reviews
• Review and sign off on clinical documentation for accuracy and quality
• Provide in-person psychiatric services at Riverside County facilities
• Travel between assigned facilities to support care continuity
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, lifestyle, and nutrition
• Engage in discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and QA activities
• Participate in team-based care and provide coverage as needed
