Job summary

Calista seeks a PMEL Technician II to apply comprehensive metrology principles, calibrate, repair, and certify TMDE in support of the USAF Metrology and Calibration Program. You will perform advanced calibrations across electronic, electro-mechanical, and optical TMDE and report test results.

The role requires troubleshooting, training others, and collaborating with customers to resolve calibration issues while adhering to safety and QMS requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years PMEL/calibration experience.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience with inspection, troubleshooting, calibration and certification of TMDE.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, calibrate, repair and certify TMDE per standards.
• Provide intermediate to advanced calibration services across electronic and mechanical domains.
• Capture test readings with oscilloscopes, DMMs, and related instruments.
• Interface with customers to report calibration/maintenance issues and resolutions.
• Train other technicians as needed and support continuous improvement.
