Penske Media Corporation (PMC) invites applications for an Assistant Treasurer based in West Los Angeles. You will report to the Corporate Treasurer and collaborate with the CFO on banking, cash forecasting, and reconciliations to support growth.

This role emphasizes in-person collaboration, with four days onsite and one day remote. You will manage daily bank operations, prepare cash forecasts, oversee KYC, and drive efficiencies across our treasury functions as PMC expands through acquisition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Treasury or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in treasury management.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage daily operations of multiple bank accounts
• Prepare weekly cash forecasts for multiple entities
• Assist accounting with bank accounts, AR, AP and reconciliations
• Manage KYC processes for multiple bank accounts
• Analyze receipts and payments for proper classification
• Analyze bank fees and make suggestions for efficiencies
• Prepare and review debt covenant compliance
• Monthly cash roll forwards and daily cash balance reporting
• Other ad hoc projects including cash forecasting platform implementation or upgrade

PM C: Assistant Treasurer

Penske Media Corporation (PMC), the parent company of Rolling Stone, Variety, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, SXSW, The Golden Globes, and many more, is hiring an Assistant Treasurer. In this newly created role, the Assistant Treasurer will report to the Corporate Treasurer and dotted line to the CFO in many aspects of banking, reconciliation, and cash forecasting. To help determine best practices, processes and efficiencies as our company continues to grow both organically and through acquisition.

As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture. This position is based in our West Los Angeles Headquarters.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage daily operations of multiple bank accounts

A good faith estimate of the salary range is $100k - $110k upon hire + Bonus. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
