Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and terminate wiring harnesses for aircraft installation.
• Perform wiring fabrication processes: wire marking, soldering, crimping, connector termination.
• Modify electrical wiring to equipment as needed.
• Inspect and test wiring installations and assemblies.
• Complete kitting fabrication and related operations as designed.
• Ensure work meets quality standards.
• Document all harness and component fabrication paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and terminate wiring harnesses to a high quality for aircraft installation.
• Perform a variety of aviation electrical and fabrication processes to include but not limited to wire marking, soldering, crimping, connector termination and assembly.
• Perform electrical wiring modifications to equipment.
• Inspect and/test wiring installations, assemblies or circuits.
• Perform kitting fabrication/ operations as designed.
• Ensure work meets quality standards set by the organization.
• Complete all required paperwork and computer documentation for harness and component fabrication.
• Perform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of various wire harness tools to include manual and crimpers is preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
