What You Will Do:
  • Ensure proper labor balancing across warehouse areas including receiving, picking, outbound parcels, project warehouse, cycle counting, wire cutting, and pipe yard.
  • Maintain clear and compliant Warehouse in Process/Status queues according to End of Month guidelines.
  • Respond promptly (within 1 hour) to warehouse lead emails, acting as a secondary responder and problem solver.
  • Conduct weekly performance reviews of Associates using data-driven metrics.
  • Engage actively within the warehouse, providing mentorship and problem solving for Associates.
  • Lead by example to foster an effective, motivated team, emphasizing positive motivation, training, and upliftment of Associates.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing safety policies and guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
  • Excellent communication skills, clear and concise.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively.
  • Familiarity with North Coast warehouse and system processes.
  • Self-motivated team player capable of leading with a focus on quality.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Commitment to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT).
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Willingness to improve personal and team knowledge and skills.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
  • Lifting and pulling heavy objects (50+ lbs.) repeatedly.
  • Use of forklift and stock picker.
  • Work in a warehouse environment.
  • Frequent use of computer terminals and RF scanners.
  • Typically 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours based on business needs.
  • Reliable on-site attendance is required.
