THRYVE Healthcare in Crestwood, IL is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality care for residents in our skilled nursing facility. You will oversee shift activities, coordinate with the health team, administer medications, and ensure adherence to facility policies.

The ideal candidate holds an active IL RN license, demonstrates strong communication, and is committed to resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing education program.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
• No history of abuse convictions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents on assigned unit during scheduled shift as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Collaborate with allied health team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with policy and evaluate effectiveness
• Maintain an environment that supports residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being
• Educate residents and families about care plans, treatments, and procedures
• Monitor team performance and support staff development, evaluations, and corrective actions as needed
• Assign and oversee nursing duties to ensure tasks are completed appropriately and efficiently
• Stay current on facility procedures and participate in in-service and continuing education
• Identify and respond to significant changes in residents’ conditions
• Accurately document care provided, changes in condition, and other relevant information per facility guidelines
• Act as a charge nurse and serve as a resource for staff, offering clinical support and decision-making guidance
• Follow all facility and departmental safety protocols
