Job summary

Arnold Machinery Company is seeking a PM Service Technician (Material Handling) in Salt Lake City, UT. This full-time role includes a $2,000 sign-on bonus and requires a high school diploma or GED.

The technician will perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and material handling equipment, using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting to repair systems. Responsibilities include servicing electric, gas, propane, and diesel forklifts, coordinating repairs with sales staff, and assisting with

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Experience with MS Excel and Word helpful.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use office machines (fax, copier, computer, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Inspect forklifts and other material handling equipment to identify needed repairs.
• Conduct maintenance services for customers.
• Service forklifts powered by electric, gas, propane, and diesel.
• Use electronic test equipment to locate and fix malfunctions in fuel, ignition, and emissions systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnosis of all systems.
• Operate vehicles or equipment such as forklifts.
• Assist the Used Equipment Manager with various tasks.
• Handle paperwork and office duties.
• Maintain a clean workspace.
