Job summary

McCain Foods USA, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Sanitation Worker to clean production equipment, machines, and work areas, and to manage cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, and waste with safety and accuracy.

You'll follow safety protocols, operate with PPE, and collaborate under pressure on a 6PM–6AM PM shift on a 2-2-3 schedule with shift differential. The role emphasizes quality, documentation, and continuous learning in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong paperwork, documentation, and reading comprehension skills relevant to job duties.
• Maintains a continuous learning mindset and adapts quickly to new equipment, processes, and roles.
• Communicates clearly with all levels of the organization, follows instructions, and completes necessary documentation in English.
• Pays close attention to detail, prioritizing product quality, safety, and accurate record-keeping.
• Physically capable of meeting job requirements including lifting 20–80 lbs and working in wet, humid environments.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and inspect plant equipment to meet quality and safety standards, including after-construction detailing.
• Operate around large processing equipment using chemicals, ensuring proper use of PPE.
• Assist with transporting heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, crouching, and working on lifts, ladders, or in construction zones.
• Collaborate effectively with the team under stressful conditions, following supervisor instructions and safety protocols.
• Maintain necessary certifications including scissor lift and high lift, and perform all tasks safely to prevent hazards.
