Job summary

Indiana University Health seeks a Vice Chair of Clinical and Academic Administration-Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to lead administrative, fiscal, research, education and clinical operations in support of the IU School of Medicine and IU Health Physicians.

Reporting to the Department Chair and collaborating with executive leadership, the role shapes strategic plans, budgets, policy implementation and quality improvement while ensuring patient-centered care and alignment with system goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Admin or Business Admin required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5-8 years in financial and clinical group practice administration.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and patient-centered service.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage administrative, financial, research, education and clinical operations of the department.
• Develop and implement strategic plans with the Department Chair.
• Oversee budgets, financial reporting, and personnel policies.
• Ensure policy compliance, IT security, and space management.
• Collaborate with IU School of Medicine and IU Health Physicians to align goals.
