PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington in Waterbury, CT, seeks a board-certified Physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation to join our full-time medical staff. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, leadership collaboration with hospital leadership, and oversight of rehabilitation services.

You will perform evaluations, manage patients with disability and chronic pain, participate in care planning, and supervise medical records and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current state medical license required.
• Completion of ACGME or AOA PM&R residency; board certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide full-time PM&R physician services to patients of the hospital.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and evaluate care policies and procedures.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with physical and/or cognitive impairment and disability.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead interdisciplinary team conferences and supervise care plans and documentation.
