Job summary
Baylor St. Luke's Medical Group in Lufkin, TX, seeks a BC/BE Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician to join our established team. The role focuses on comprehensive rehabilitation care to restore function and quality of life for patients with complex needs.
The position offers a competitive base salary with production incentives, CME allowance, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and generous time off. Expect a mix of hospital and outpatient care with an Epic EMR system.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Active Texas license or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- Completion of ACGME Residency program.
- American Board Certification and active BLS.
- Pain management experience will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive rehabilitation care focused on restoring function and quality of life.
- Perform functional assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Work with EMG/nerve studies, botox injections, and acupuncture where applicable.
- Split time between hospital and office with alternating weekend coverage.
- Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and care coordination.
