Job summary

VA Long Beach Healthcare System is seeking a full-time staff physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The physician will deliver outpatient PM&R services with occasional inpatient cross-coverage and will report to the RMS supervisor/chief of PM&R.

Additional collateral duties may be assigned consistent with privileges. Requirements include an MD/DO degree and a current US medical license; board eligibility in PM&R is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Board eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient PM&R services with occasional inpatient cross-coverage.
• Report to RMS supervisor/chief of PM&R.
• Possibly additional collateral duties per PM&R needs.
• Participate in quality and interdisciplinary care for Veterans.
