Job summary

Gold Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, PC in Colorado Springs is seeking a Physiatrist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. Earn up to $350,000+ per year with a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to care.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, supervise daily progress, and contribute to education for patients and families. The schedule supports 7 on/7 off with flexible weekday or weekend options, focusing on patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited PM&R residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in PM&R.
• Valid medical license in the state of practice.
• Strong clinical skills in managing acute and subacute rehab needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

About the role

Job Description: Earn up to $350,000+ per year at Gold PM&R. Gold is seeking dedicated and passionate Physiatrists to join our dynamic team. As a Gold PM&R Physiatrist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. You will work collaboratively with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Gold PM&R specializes in acute and subacute rehabilitation units and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with diverse rehabilitation needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations, to determine appropriate rehabilitation goals and interventions.
• Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize functional outcomes and promote independence.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and educational activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge summaries in electronic medical records systems.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families regarding the rehabilitation process, expected outcomes, and post-discharge care.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of ACGME-accredited residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
• Board certification or eligibility in PM&R.
• Valid medical license in the state of practice.
• Strong clinical skills in the evaluation and management of patients with acute and subacute rehabilitation needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
