Bon Secours Virginia Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists in the Hampton Roads region seeks a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified PM&R physician with a strong interventional spine focus for outpatient care.

Join a busy practice performing fluoroscopic ESIs, facet injections, and RFA, with EMG/NCS ability. Collaborate with orthopedic colleagues, APPs, therapists, and clinical support staff in a 3-location system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and PM&R board eligibility or certification.
• Board-certified or eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Fellowship in Interventional Spine preferred, not required.
• Virginia license or ability to obtain it.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Experience in practice preferred; new grads considered.
• Outpatient interventional spine experience preferred.
• Ability to perform EMG/NCS studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% outpatient interventional spine procedures.
• Perform EMG/NCS studies; fluoroscopic ESIs and injections.
• Collaborate with Orthopedics, APPs, PTs and OT.
• Schedule includes 8:00–4:30, Mon–Fri; on-call as needed.

Bon Secours - coastal Hampton Roads - Virginia Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists in the beautiful Harbour View area of North Suffolk is adding a PM&R - Physiatry MD/DO to our team!

Located near Kroger, shopping, restaurants and new residential buildings including luxury apartments and stunning homes near the water, minutes from I-664, Suffolk, Chesapeake and Norfolk.

We are a busy practice with more referrals than can be currently be accommodated. Wait time for consult currently 3+ months between our 3 MDs and experienced NP on the team.

• Effective 7/1/26: No Non-Compete in Employment Agreement
  
• MD or DO - BC/BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Fellowship training in Interventional Spine preferred, not required
• BLS, ACLS required
• Current and unrestricted Virginia practice license or ability to obtain required
• Experience in practice highly preferred
• New grads will be considered
• Start date will be 120 days after having signed offer - prefer 2026
• 8:00-4:30 Mon-Fri
• Physicians take own practice call except when on ATO; no RX refills after hours
• 100% OUTPATIENT interventional spine procedures, including fluoroscopic ESIs, facet injections, RFA, SI joint injections, and related procedures,EMG preferred

• Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible PM&R physician with a strong interventional spine focus. Excellent opportunity for both new and experienced physiatrists to thrive in a collaborative, outpatient-focused environment. Provide outpatient musculoskeletal (MSK) and spine evaluations. Perform EMG/NCS studies and Interventional pain procedures.
• Works closely with our Orthopedics, team: Orthopedic Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, Physical Therapists , and Occupational Therapy
• 1:1 Clinical support, as well as Admin support in the practice and anXray tech and procedure scheduler
• EPIC EMR - MyChart for virtual health as appropriate
• 3 practice locations - Norfolk, Suffolk, Portsmouth - all 15 to 30 min apart - one location per day

Compensation and Benefits:

• Guaranteed Base Compensation of $326,000 for first two years plus productivity and quality incentives if wRVU threshold is met
• Bonus Available: wRVU Productivity, $ per wRVU Quality Goal, System KPI attainment
