Description

MRIoA is a national Independent Review Organization that facilitates the review of medical claims to determine treatment appropriateness.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Any state medical license required.

  • Review Prior Authorizations for treatment by applying nationally accepted medical and healthcare plan guidelines. Provide expert, unbiased assessments while ensuring compliance with ERISA/DOL and state regulations.
  • Flexibility – work as little as 1-2 hours per week (with no minimum requirement). Most cases take 30-60 minutes to complete.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Work remotely from anywhere in the US (Per HIPAA Regulations, patient records cannot leave the US.)
  • Covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy.
Requirements
  • Must be an MD or DO.
  • Must be Board Certified in PM&R and Pain Management.
  • Must have 5 years of patient care experience in PM&R.
  • Must have an unrestricted state medical license.
  • Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card.
