Job summary

Beverage South (GA/SC) is seeking a PM Production Supervisor to lead 10-15 load crewmembers in the warehouse, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate loading of all delivery vehicles while performing required maintenance tasks.

You will enforce warehouse standards, drive safety and quality, supervise staff, and use the VIP WMS system to manage inventory, FIFO product flow, and cycle checks. This role requires strong organizational skills and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management experience in beverage industry or similar field.
• Must be capable of supervising, training and possess excellent communication skills.
• Must have strong organizational skills, time management and decision making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise 10–15 load crewmembers and assist manager with enforcing warehouse practices.
• Maximize productivity to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of products, maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Operate and leverage WMS VIP for inventory accuracy, FIFO, and proper product rotation.

Nature and Scope

The PM Production Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Manager while managing 10-15 load crewmembers. Responsible for managing the safe, efficient and accurate loading of all delivery vehicles. Also performs the assigned maintenance tasks that accompany the position.

Knowledge and Experience

This position requires 1-3 years of management experience in the beverage industry or similar field. Must be capable of supervising, training and possess excellent communication skills. Must have strong organizational skills, time management and decision making abilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Knowledgeable of all Beverage South warehouse standard practices and is responsible to assist manager with enforcement of those practices.
• Maximize productivity standards to meet operational timelines and budgets.
• Achieve critical operational timing to meet customer and internal needs.
• Efficient and knowledgeable in basic warehouse tasks including but not limited to: receiving, storage, order fulfillment and cleanliness.
• Exhibit competency of work practices to allow operational flexibility. This includes competency in basic shift-specific tasks as detailed by supervisor requirement.
• Interface with external contacts professionally to satisfy customers, carriers and contractors.
• Ensures all OSHA safety regulations local regulations and company safety rules are observed. Drive safety in work behaviors.
• Ensures and manages quality through limiting internal damage of product, proper loading and unloading of product to prevent damage at warehouse, route and customer.
• Demonstrates competency in assigned operational functions of WMS systems. Current system VIP.
• Ensures proper product rotation and segregation using FIFO methods by leveraging WMS and manual monitoring.
• Deliver and manage inventory accuracy through proper WMS and manual methods. Meets objectives for net shrink, absolute shrink and location accuracy.
• Assures a clean work space leveraging visual management.
• Regularly inspect facility and equipment for operational readiness, escalates or resolves
