Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking a PM Port Driver in Compton to operate a Class A tractor-trailer for port-to-port moves with drop-and-hook freight when available. Local routes around Las Vegas, Long Beach, Moreno Valley, LA and Southern California will be required on a shift from 3pm to 5pm, with approximately 10+ hours daily.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid CDL and TWIC, be at least 21 years old, and have 6 months of tractor-trailer experience along with chassis and container familiarity.

Qualifications

• Active TWIC card required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Minimum 6 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Chassis and container experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailer on port routes.
• Move containers to locations such as Vegas, Long Beach, Moreno Valley, LA and So-Cal.
• No-touch freight with drop-and-hook when applicable.
• Follow safety and DOT regulations.
