Horizon Recuperative Care - San Gabriel Valley in El Monte, CA is seeking a caring Caregiver/Health Aide to support residents in a recuperative care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, and medication management, while promoting safety, comfort, and a compassionate atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience as caregiver or support staff is a plus.
• Must be able to work in El Monte, CA.
• Prior involvement in caregiving or support roles, ideally in underserved settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating).

• Administer medications and assist with medication management under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.


• Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.


• Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interactions to promote socialization and mental stimulation.


• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including resident rooms, common areas, and dining areas.


• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring and supportive atmosphere.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Experience as caregiver or support staff is a plus.


• Must be able to work in El Monte, CA.


• Prior involvement in caregiving or support roles, ideally within environments such as homeless shelters or comparable settings.
