Job summary

Niagara Bottling in Rialto is seeking a PM Mechanic to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery. You will troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems, repair equipment, and document parts usage using CMMS systems and HMIs.

Maintain a clean, safe work area and support production as needed. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma with additional vocational training in mechanical/electrical fields; experience with CMMS, Microsoft Office, and safety

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualified: High School Diploma.
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Hydraulics/Pneumatics.
  • Technical certification in related field is a plus.
  • CMMS knowledge, HMI experience, and ability to use work orders.
  • Proficiency with Word/Outlook/Excel required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems using schematics and drawings.
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors as required.
  • Lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment.
  • Work independently and with others to complete repairs timely and safely.
  • Document parts and material usage in daily paperwork.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • May back up production line workers as needed.
  • Follow plant safety rules and wear PPE as required.
  • Attend to duties with regular and predictable attendance.

PM Mechanic

Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.

Essential Functions
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
  • Repair equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors and other equipment at facility as required.
  • Lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment.
  • Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
  • Complete required daily paperwork, document parts and material usage.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • May perform as a back up to production line worker.
  • Understand and follow plant safety rules including safe lifting practices and safe machine operation. Personal Protective Equipment is to be used where required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 2 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 2 Years – Experience in Position
    • 0 Years – Experience managing people/projects
  • experience may include a combination of work experience and education
  • Required to lift items up to 50 lbs throughout shift.
  • Basic knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Mechanical System (CMMS), this includes experience with HMI’s, work orders, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Team members need to provide their own tools, except in California locations where tools will be provided.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 4 Years – Experience in Field or similar manufacturing environment
    • 4 Years – Experience working in Position
    • 2 Years – Experience managing people/projects
