Job summary

TridentCare in Novato, CA is seeking a Mobile Phlebotomist with dispatch coordination duties. You will check in with dispatch, handle AM run amendments, and stay informed on facility clearance statuses.

You will train new phlebotomists when needed, participate in start-up in-services, and perform routine logs and mileage entries. The role collaborates with Laboratory Dispatch, Courier Dispatch, Accessioning, Customer Service, and Data Entry to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Mobile Phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Checks in with dispatch at 2:00am to double check for phlebotomist call offs and AM run amendments.
• Keeps apprised of AM facility clearance, including UTOs, same day refusals, and ammonia issues.
• Train new phlebotomists when no trainers are designated for the area.
• Attend facility start up in-service with APS when appropriate.
• Conduct quarterly trunk checks.
• Account for all route sheets daily.
• Stay up to date on mileage entry in Datarrive.
• Make changes in Datarrive daily for next day assignments.
• Assist APS in ordering supplies and closing orders when no designee.
• Assist APS in collection of centrifuge logs and placement in binders.
• Assist APS in butterfly logs/usage when no designee.
• Work cooperatively with Lab Dispatch, Courier Dispatch, Couriers, Accessioning, Customer Service and Data Entry.

Stay up to date on mileage entry in Datarrive.

Make changes in Datarrive daily for next day assignments.

Assist APS in ordering supplies and closing orders, if there is no other designee.

Assist APS in collection of centrifuge logs and placement in binders, if there is no other designee.

Assist APS in butterfly logs/usage, if there is no other designee.
