Job summary

McCarthy Tire Service in Hickory, NC is seeking a Fleet Service Tire Technician for the PM shift (2:00 PM – 9:00/10:00 PM). The role offers competitive pay based on experience, bonus opportunities, and weekly pay with direct deposit.

Responsibilities include mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairing tires, inspecting equipment, and delivering professional customer service while maintaining safety standards. Valid CDL/driver's license preferred and background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial tire mounting, dismounting, balancing and repairs.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, DOT physical and background check.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair commercial tires.
• Inspect tires, wheels, and vehicles before and after service.
• Respond to service calls and provide professional customer service.
• Safely operate tire service tools and equipment.
• Communicate with customers, dispatch, and team members.
