Job summary

The Prairie Ridge Care Center Cook position at Orange City Area Health System is a casual, part-time role. The cook prepares supper meals for residents, staff and visitors, and also acts as the baker, making desserts and salads for the next day.

The shift runs 11:00 am–7:00 pm, 0-15 hours per week, with coverage on weekends and holidays as needed. Cleaning tasks and supervising servers are included in duties, with an equal opportunity employer statement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Sanitation and modified diet course may be required.

Job Schedule:

Casual: 0-15 hours/week. 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, every other weekend and holiday. Fill in for co-workers as appropriate.
