Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Cook to join a service-oriented team in a fast-paced hospitality setting. The role emphasizes high sanitation standards, proper food handling, and collaboration with management to create specials.

We value flexible scheduling, teamwork, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Previous kitchen experience and a High School education are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role required.
• Basic understanding of sanitation guidelines and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high sanitation standards in the area of responsibility.
• Ensure organized and clean storage areas for all food.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all food items; rotate inventory.
• Prepare food according to specifications for breakfast, lunch, dinner and banquets.
• Maintain clean and orderly storage areas and product pars.
• Work with manager to create specials and other menu variations.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of food preparation health and safety guidelines
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
• Ability to multi-task
• Team player
