Job summary

Velociti Services is seeking a Cleaner for the US-CA-San Mateo area. The role supports commercial cleaning at client sites with duties including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00pm–2:30am. Candidates must adhere to safety rules and provide reliable, professional service to customers and supervisors.

OverviewSchedule: Monday - Friday 6pm - 2:30am

As a Cleaner at Velociti Services you will be part of our frontline associates that provide commercial cleaning services onsite at client locations focusing on standard custodial and janitorial tasks that include but are not limited to mopping, dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and waste removal.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Communicate with the lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers professionally
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• Understand reporting systems and the environment

Key Accountabilities:

• Vacuuming
• Edging

• Emptying trash and transporting to proper disposal area

Physical Requirements:

• Applicants for this role must be able to: Lift boxes and packages weighing up to 60 pounds
• Lift, bend, squat, and stretch to move boxes, parcels, and shipments
• Climb small to medium flights of stairs multiple times a day
• Standing for extended periods of time
