Job summary

Tech24 in Tappan, NY is seeking Regular Full Time Technicians to join our maintenance team. The role covers electrical system upkeep, filtration maintenance, minor repairs, and site troubleshooting for commercial environments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial maintenance (trade school or field experience welcomed).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or with little supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, replace broken switches etc.).
• Maintain filtration systems by replacing filters to ensure functionality.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix lock, door hinges, replace gaskets etc.).
• Assist in the set up of refrigeration and other systems and conduct minor repairs when necessary.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Follow EPA, safety, and company compliance standards.
• Maintain tools, truck inventory, and job site cleanliness.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and development programs.
• Assist with emergency service calls alongside experienced technicians as needed.

• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions
• Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
• Own industry standard hand tools
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $18-$25 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications. Candidates with prior hands-on commercial cooking and refrigeration experience or relevant technical training may be considered at the higher end of the range.
