Job summary

IES Residential is looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate - Plumbing in San Antonio, TX. The successful candidate will support daily warehouse operations, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping plumbing materials.

This role requires knowledge of plumbing supplies and warehouse procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred.

General Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate - Plumbing to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping plumbing materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and knowledgeable in plumbing supplies and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming plumbing materials and verify accuracy of shipments
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment
• Load and unload trucks using proper equipment and safety procedures
• Organize and stock inventory in appropriate warehouse locations
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
• Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if certified)
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment

Qualifications

• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Work Environment

Fast‑paced warehouse setting with frequent movement and activity. Regular use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools. Requires adherence to strict safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Team‑oriented environment focused on efficiency, accuracy, and safety.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs. Comfortable working at heights and using ladders. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
