Job summary

PlumbX is seeking a dependable Plumbing Utility Laborer/Pipe Layer to join our commercial plumbing and underground utility team. The role involves hands-on work installing underground piping on commercial construction sites and collaborating with journeymen to complete projects safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have experience in trenches, excavations, bed preparation, pipe laying and connection, backfilling, and assisting plumbers and equipment operators.

Qualifications

• Experience in trenches, excavation, pipe bedding, laying and connecting pipe, backfilling
• Understand underground construction, safety protocols, and ability to follow directions
• Team-oriented with ability to support plumbers and equipment operators

Responsibilities

• Install underground plumbing and utility piping on commercial construction projects
• Assist with excavation, trenching, and bedding preparation
• Lay, connect and test piping; backfill work as required
