Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a skilled Plumber Level I to join our HVAC and Plumbing team in Goshen, KY. You will perform installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems with emphasis on safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a Plumber Helper or Apprentice.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Valid plumbing license/certification is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues or defects.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for layouts and installations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and team members on requirements and timelines.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Carry out installations and repairs of plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters).
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
• Mentor junior plumbers and helpers; keep accurate records of work and materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.
