Job summary

Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling in Indianapolis is seeking a Plumbing Supervisor to lead a team of plumbers, ensure work is performed safely and to Summers quality standards, and deliver excellent customer service. You will guide technicians, supervise field operations, and enforce policies while training staff in technical skills and safety practices.

The role requires leadership, a valid plumbing license, and the ability to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Plumbing License
• Demonstrate ability to train others in technical skills and effective customer service
• Effective and efficient time-management and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving records
• Available to work flexible hours and on-call shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs the Plumbers to effectively perform repair, replacement, installation and other duties for customer satisfaction
• Reviews Plumbing Technicians work to ensure quality meets Summers standards and safety requirements
• Conducts group and one-on-one training with technicians on lead generation, customer service and company practices
• Ensures that all company/department policies are being followed by all Plumbing staff
• Train employees on technical skills, company processes and safety rules and practices
• Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being used and accounted for
• Represent Summers professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters
• Demonstrates leadership to field technicians in customer focus and service

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and maneuver equipment up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend and reach overhead
• Must be able to climb and work on ladders
• Must be able to use hand and power tools
• Demonstrate ability to train others in technical skills and effective customer service

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving records

• Train employees on technical skills, company processes and procedures, and safety rules and practices
• Ensures company property, vehicles, and tools are being used, maintained, and properly accounted for
• Represent Summers professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activities
• Demonstrates leadership to field technicians in the areas of customer focus and customer service
• Performs similar/other duties as needed or assigned
