Essential Job Functions:

• Installing pipes and fixtures in residential settings
• Maintaining systems that provide water and gas, and remove waste from homes and businesses
• Selecting appropriate materials for plumbing installations
• Reviewing blueprints to determine installation needs
• Inspecting and troubleshooting plumbing systems
• Testing pipe systems for leaks and functionality
• Repairing leaks and clearing obstructions
• Diagnosing plumbing issues and advising customers on solutions
• Preparing and estimating costs for supplies and repairs

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of residential plumbing service or installation experience preferred
• Knowledge of residential plumbing phases and codes
• Ability to record and report data accurately
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Effective communication with clients
• Adherence to safety regulations
• Proficiency with power tools and plumbing equipment
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
