Job summary

Esser needs an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair residential plumbing systems. You will communicate with customers about issues and solutions, and perform repairs on water heaters, fixtures, and lines in a residential setting.

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong residential plumbing experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a customer-first mindset. This role requires someone who can diagnose plumbing issues, recommend solutions, and complete repairs efficiently and professionally.

Job Duties:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems and equipment.
• Communicate with customers regarding plumbing issues, recommended solutions, and repair options.
• Perform plumbing repairs and service work, including water heaters, fixtures, faucets, toilets, drains, water lines, and other residential plumbing systems.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services based on customer needs.
• Perform emergency plumbing repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed using ServiceTitan and other company software.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with applicable plumbing codes and industry standards.
• Communicate technical issues and recommended solutions to customers in a clear, easy-to-understand manner.
• Maintain a clean and professional work environment and provide an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of plumbing
• Valid Drivers License
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Sound knowledge of water systems
• Knowledge of plumbing diagnostics, re-pipes, re-drain, leak detections, and water heaters.

Physical Demands:

• Stand/Sit: Must be able to remain in stationary position 50% of the time
• May be required to bend, climb (Stairs/Ladders), do repetitive motion, kneel, reach, squat, stand, crawl, walk, and run
• May be required to drive and sit for long periods of time
• May be required to maneuver up to 25 lb. by lifting, carrying or pushing
• Ability to work in confined, tight, or awkward spaces, including under sinks, in crawl spaces, attics, and other residential service areas.

PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The starting ratefor this opportunity ranges from$75k-$120kThe actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Other rewards may include incentive plan opportunities and annual bonus eligibility.
