Upchurch is seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician to join our growing service team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing plumbing systems within commercial and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate is a customer-focused professional with strong troubleshooting abilities, experience in commercial service environments, and a commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional client service.
3+ years of commercial plumbing service experience preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Experience servicing commercial buildings, industrial facilities, healthcare, education, office, manufacturing, or mission-critical facilities preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently.
Knowledge of local plumbing codes and industry best practices.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer and mobile technology proficiency for service documentation.
Journeyman Plumber License or equivalent experience.
Backflow Certification (preferred).
Medical Gas Certification (preferred).
Experience working within commercial MEP service environments.
Preventative maintenance experience.
Experience with service software and mobile work order systems.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, crawl spaces, and confined spaces.
Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated surfaces.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions.
