Role Description

The Plumbing Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Princeton, FL, responsible for overseeing plumbing projects from planning through completion. This role coordinates field crews, manages schedules, and ensures that materials, equipment, and inspections are arranged to keep projects on track and within budget.

The Plumbing Project Manager collaborates with general contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and resolve issues promptly. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, enforcing safety and quality standards, reviewing plans and specifications, and preparing status reports and documentation. This position also involves supporting cost control, handling change orders, and contributing to continuous improvement of project processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess project leadership skills, including Project Management and Inspection experience, to oversee plumbing projects and ensure compliance with codes and quality standards.
• Candidates should possess coordination and scheduling skills, such as Expeditor and Expediting experience, to manage permits, inspections, materials, and workflow efficiently.
• Candidates should possess operational planning skills, including Logistics Management, to organize labor, tools, and supplies and maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Demonstrated experience in plumbing or mechanical contracting, with knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems, codes, and safety practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with field crews, clients, inspectors, and vendors.
• Proficiency in project documentation, basic computer skills, and familiarity with project management or scheduling software.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under time constraints.
• Relevant certifications or licenses, and prior experience as a plumbing foreperson, supervisor, or project manager, are highly beneficial.
