Job summary

ColonialWebb Contractors Company in Richmond, VA is hiring experienced commercial Plumber and Pipefitter Foremen to lead field crews and provide technical support on hospital, data center, high-rise, and government projects.

As a Foreman you will direct day-to-day activities, ensure safety, manage quality and budget constraints, and coordinate with sub-contractors to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Current or previous leadership experience as a Foreman on commercial projects.
• In-depth experience and knowledge of commercial plumbing systems.
• Master's or Journeyman Plumbing License (preferred, not required).
• Knowledge of applicable codes (IPC/IMC) and general HVAC systems.
• Ability to read project drawings, submittals and specifications.
• Ability to direct crews to install work safely with quality and efficiency.
• Ability to read and understand project documents in English.
• Knowledge of basic construction/shop math.
• OSHA 10-hour certification.
• Problem-solving skills and decision-making with available information.
• Ability to communicate with teammates in other trades.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and internet usage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise plumbing/pipefitter crews on commercial projects.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities and ensure safety, schedule, and quality.
• Demonstrate a passion for safety and coach behaviors to prevent injuries.
• Inspect work in progress and completed work for conformance to specs.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and job orders for supervision area.
• Study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion.
• Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules.
• Work safely and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
