Job summary

East End Plumbing is seeking a Plumbing/Mechanical Technician to install gas piping for whole home generators. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule, with options for full benefits and a strong team environment.

You will connect gas lines, review plans and specs, and stay current on codes and industry changes while delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• First hand experience setting up generator gas piping installations.
• Multiple years’ experience in residential plumbing services OR a combination of education and experience.
• Plumbing license, trade certification, associate degree, or related technical training (preferred).
• Knowledge of applicable fuel gas and plumbing codes.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, building codes, OSHA requirements, and industry standards.
• Experience estimating projects using software.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

• Reviews architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and civil drawings, specifications, addenda, and contract documents
• Maintains current knowledge of plumbing materials, installation methods, building codes, and industry changes.

• Provides customers with a remarkable experience
• Any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Overview:

The Plumbing/Mechanical Technician is responsible for preparing and completing gas piping set ups for whole home generators. This position installs natural gas and propane systems for residential generator projects.
