Job summary

Shaw's Home Comfort is seeking a Plumbing Manager in Central Valley, based in Lemoore, CA with daily travel to surrounding communities. Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential plumbing service experience preferred.
• Leadership or foreman experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, repairs, replacements, and diagnostics.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and guide technicians.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety practices, and standards.
• Excellent communication with homeowners and team members.
• Ability to train, coach, and motivate technicians.
• Experience managing schedules, productivity, and service operations.
• Comfortable using tablets, CRM systems, dispatch software, and technology platforms.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop plumbing technicians.
• Manage daily plumbing operations, schedules, workflow, and priorities.
• Support technicians with troubleshooting, technical guidance, and difficult service situations.

• Monitor department performance including revenue, efficiency, callbacks, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct ride-alongs, field coaching, and technician development.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new plumbing team members.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding plumbing issues, solutions, and recommendations.
• Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and effectively.
• Ensure technicians follow safety standards, codes, and company procedures.
• Maintain accountability for inventory, tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Use tablets, CRM systems, dispatch software, and reporting tools to manage department performance.

Position Overview

The Plumbing Manager is responsible for leading daily plumbing operations, supporting technicians, improving department performance, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service.

This role requires a strong plumbing background, leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both people and processes. The right person will coach technicians, oversee quality standards, help resolve challenging technical issues, monitor department performance, and work with leadership to grow the plumbing division.

Compensation

Full-time, W-2 Employment

Base Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications, plus performance incentives.

Expected total annual earnings:

$100,000-$130,000+ per year

Compensation may include:
