Job summary

Feldkamp Enterprises is seeking a Plumbing Laborer to support commercial plumbing teams on sites across the greater Cincinnati Tri-State area. You will assist journeymen, help with tool handling, and learn basic plumbing concepts while maintaining a safe, organized work site.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of construction or plumbing experience, be comfortable with hand and power tools, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction or plumbing experience.
• Understanding of hand tools (tape measure, pipe wrenches, hammers, screw drivers, etc.).
• Able and willing to handle power tools in a safe manner.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional manner to all levels inside and outside the company.
• Operate in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements (wear proper PPE, keep worksite organized, safe, and free of hazards).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work at heights.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, transport, and organize plumbing tools and materials.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with installing pipe supports, hangers, sleeves, and other plumbing components.
• Learn and understand the basics of commercial plumbing.
• Learn and understand how to read blueprints and layouts.
• Other duties as assigned.

This job does require travelling across the greater Cincinnati Tri-State area (sites will vary based on the job)

General Description:

The Plumbing Laborer is directly responsible for working on jobsites assigned by their Project Manager. They will be required to work directly under the Commercial Plumbing Journeymen and provide support to Plumbing Apprentices. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Assist plumbers with installation of plumbing systems.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize plumbing tools and materials.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Assist with installing pipe supports, hangers, sleeves, and other plumbing components.
• Learn and understand the basics of commercial plumbing.
• Learn and understand how to read blueprints and layouts.
• Other duties as assigned.
