Job summary

PlumbingPro in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Plumbing Installer to lead field installations from rough-in to trim-out on residential and light commercial plumbing projects. You’ll collaborate with sales, service techs, and apprentices to ensure quality workmanship and on-time delivery.

Role requires tankless water heater experience, PEX/copper systems proficiency, and ability to read blueprints. Includes performance pay with bonus and a schedule with some weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on plumbing installation experience.
• Deep working knowledge of IPC/IRC and Georgia state codes.
• Proven experience with tankless water heater installation and commissioning.
• Proficiency with PEX, copper sweat, and push-fit systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; able to operate company vehicle.
• Smartphone/tablet proficiency for job documentation (ServiceTitan training provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead full rough-in and trim-out installations on residential and light commercial projects.
• Install and commission tankless and storage water heaters; DHW recirculation and PRVs.
• Perform DWV system installations per IPC/IRC code.
• Install PEX, copper, and CPVC systems; select fittings per specs.
• Read blueprints, riser diagrams, and fixture schedules.
• Pull permits, schedule inspections, ensure code compliance.
• Mentor and supervise apprentice plumbers on job sites.
• Maintain truck inventory, tools, and field equipment readiness.
• Document job progress and service records in ServiceTitan.
• Coordinate with project managers, GCs, and homeowners to meet schedule.
