Michigan Mechanical Ventures is a family-owned plumbing/HVAC company located in Farmington Hills, Michigan. We are seeking a full-time Install Plumber/Service Plumber who will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems.

Qualifications

Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
General understanding of piping practices, drainage systems, and heating equipment.
Ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.

Responsibilities

Install, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures, and water systems.
Respond to emergency plumbing calls such as clogged drains and broken pipes.
Maintain parts inventory in accordance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

Able to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
A general understanding of piping practices, drainage systems, and heating equipment.
The ability to use, repair and maintain machines and tools.
Knowledge of building and construction.
Thorough and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Installing, repair and maintain pipes, fixtures and water distribution and wastewater disposal.
Respond to emergency plumbing calls such as clogged drains, broken water lines and frozen pipes.
Maintain parts inventory and distribution in accordance with contract requirements.
Locate and mark pipes and connection positions and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors using plumbing equipment.
Fill pipe systems with water or air and read pressure gauges to ensure system is not leaking.
