Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus two years of trade school or college coursework in plumbing, and a minimum of three years journeyman level experience in the plumbing field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid Alabama driver’s license and a Master or Journeyman Plumber certificate issued by the State of Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitters Examining Board.
• Eligibles selected for appointment must meet medical and physical standards; medical examination cost borne by the appointee.
