Job summary

Kelso Industries is seeking an experienced plumber for our Knoxville/Eastern TN area to install and maintain commercial plumbing systems. You will work with foremen to handle slabs, DWV, rough-ins, fixtures, gas piping, grease traps, and main lines, ensuring code compliance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Strong understanding of the plumbing code.
  • Read and interpret blueprints/plumbing plans.
  • Measure, cut, thread, solder, braze, press all types of pipe and fittings.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and use ladders safely.
  • Reliable, punctual, flexible and able to work independently or with a team.
  • Willing to work out of town, nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality workmanship and verify that installations meet project specifications and applicable plumbing codes.
  • Maintain a clean jobsite and company vehicle.
  • Complete required documentation, service tickets, and safety checklists.
  • Follow company safety protocols and best practices.

We are a growing company providing commercial Plumbing work with a strong focus on safety, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction. Our team values professionalism, code compliance, and doing the job right the first time. We're looking for a skilled Plumber who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with a company that invests in its people.

The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings. Working with the foreman This includes Slabs, DWV, water rough ins, fixture set outs, gas piping, grease traps, main sewer lines, main waterlines, troubleshooting and ensuring all work meets local code requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality workmanship and verify that installations meet project specifications and applicable plumbing codes.

  • Complete required documentation, service tickets, and safety checklists
  • Follow company safety protocols and best practices

Minimum Qualifications
