Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Southwest is seeking a Plumbing Foreman to lead field operations with a focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Relocation and a sign‑on bonus are available for the right candidate.

You will analyze plans, allocate manpower, mentor journeymen and apprentices, and coordinate daily with project teams to ensure work proceeds on schedule and to contract specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in plumbing with supervisory experience of 15+ employees.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with project planning and coordination per construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and ensure safety compliance.
• Analyze plans and specifications to guide manpower allocation.
• Develop weekly look-ahead schedules and coordinate with PMs and superintendents.
• Manage subcontractors in coordination with the General Foreman.
• Inspect work to ensure quality, codes, and contract obligations.

Currently, we're offering relocation and a sign on bonus for a skilled Plumbing Foreman to join our dynamic team.

What You’ll Do

• Demonstrate expertise in your trade profession and a solid understanding of OSHA regulations within the construction domain.
• Analyze and interpret plans, specifications, submittals, and project scopes, ensuring comprehensive understanding.
• Develop a weekly 3‑week look‑ahead schedule, effectively allocating manpower resources, and liaise with project management and Superintendents for seamless coordination.
• Collaborate closely with the General Foreman and/or Superintendent to address manpower requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with the General Foreman, Project Managers/Project Engineers, and General Contractors on a daily basis.
• Proficiently conduct complete 90% takeoffs from blueprints and coordinate all startup activities well in advance.
• Oversee and manage subcontractors in tandem with CSUSW SW General Foreman.
• Uphold and enforce company policies and safety procedures rigorously.
• Mentor and guide journeymen and apprentices, fostering their professional growth.
• Conduct daily quality inspections to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and contractual obligations.
