Jobot is seeking a Plumbing Engineer with 6+ years of experience to join our mid-size architecture team focused on healthcare, higher education, and commercial projects in Kansas City. You will lead plumbing design, prepare construction documents, and collaborate across disciplines to ensure code compliance and budget alignment.

Ideal candidates have an ABET-accredited engineering degree, FE exam, and experience with healthcare or institutional facilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 6+ years of experience in engineering with a strong understanding of plumbing systems; medical gas experience preferred.
• Experience designing systems for healthcare, higher education, or commercial buildings.
• Knowledge of current plumbing and energy codes.
• Project management experience is a plus but not required.

• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure cohesive designs.

• Handle construction administration tasks, including site visits and shop drawing reviews as required by the project.
• Identify and implement strategies to improve cost-efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive project specifications.
• Update and correct drawings based on quality assurance feedback.
• Assist the director with quality assurance reviews.
