Job summary

Allen & Shariff is seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer to join our Pittsburgh team. You will perform full design of plumbing systems for small to medium commercial projects and coordinate with clients to ensure code-compliant solutions. Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD is required.

The role includes producing detailed specifications and supporting bid/construction activities, with opportunities for professional development and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3-5 years of plumbing design experience.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Perform full design of plumbing systems (sanitary, water, gas, storm, medical gas, fire protection) for small to medium commercial projects.
• Analyze system options and evaluate existing systems where appropriate.
• Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within A+S and externally with clients.
• Produce full design in accordance with code using AutoCAD and Revit as required by the project.
• Write specifications and provide bid and construction phase services including reviewing bids, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, and field observation reports.

A+S is seeking an experienced Plumbing Designer to join our Pittsburgh team.

Responsibilities

• Perform full design of plumbing systems (sanitary, water, gas, storm, medical gas, fire protection), including full equipment selection, for small to medium commercial projects.
• Analyze system options and evaluate existing systems where appropriate.
• Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within A+S and externally with clients.
• Complete full design in accordance with code. Production is performed using AutoCAD & Revit depending on preference of architect.
• Write specifications.
• Provide bid and construction phase services including reviewing bids, answering RFI's, reviewing shop drawings, participating in project walk throughs and providing field observation reports.
