Job summary

PAE seeks a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team across our major offices in San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Boston, Denver, Portland, and Los Angeles. The program offers hands-on sustainable design experience, exposure to building systems, and collaboration with engineering and design teams.

The internship covers plumbing design, energy modeling, CAD/Revit work, and site visits, with a competitive hourly base rate and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering major.

The 10 to 12 week paid program gives interns the opportunity to learn about the building design industry from a traditional viewpoint, and to learn the PAE and LUMA way. We have internships in the areas of mechanical, plumbing, electrical, lighting design, regenerative design, and building systems technology design.Interns here work directly as part of our engineering and design teams.
