Status: Part-Time

Hours: Monday/Wednesday; 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., or Tuesday/Thursday; 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

Pay/Salary: $31.00–$35.00/hour

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities of the Plumbing Apprenticeship Instructor include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction that prepares students for real-world success.
  • Collaborate with faculty and administrators to develop and maintain a strong, industry-relevant curriculum with clear learning objectives.
  • Design and implement lesson plans to ensure students gain practical skills through lab work and real-world applications.
  • Supervise and evaluate students in lab, clinical, externship, or other work-based learning experiences to ensure competency.
  • Mentor students by providing feedback, encouragement, and guidance to help them complete the program, pass licensure exams, and secure employment in the field.
  • Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to support student learning and help new students adapt to the technology.
  • Track student progress, maintain records, and develop academic improvement plans as needed.
  • Leading by example in professionalism, safety, and workplace readiness.
