Job summary

Horsetooth Heating & Air in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to join our hands-on team. You will assist experienced plumbers with residential service, repairs, and installations, learn plumbing systems and tools, and develop skills through paid training and mentorship.

The role offers Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–5:30 PM with occasional overtime. Plumbing experience is preferred but not required; candidates from construction or HVAC backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Plumbing experience is preferred, but not required.
Experience in construction, HVAC, maintenance, or another skilled trade is preferred.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced plumbers with residential service, repairs, and installations.
Learn plumbing systems, tools, and industry best practices.
Troubleshoot basic plumbing issues while developing your skills.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Deliver friendly, professional service to customers.
Grow into an independent plumbing technician through paid training and mentorship.
