Job summary

Corvant is seeking an Apprentice Plumber I to join our team. You will assist in assembling pipes, cleaning the water supply, handling tools, and supporting smaller jobs on your own. Travel may be required.

You will learn plumbing codes, select tools, and maintain jobsite safety while supporting commercial plumbing projects across our service areas.

Qualifications

• No experience required but preferred.
• OSHA 10 Certification required.
• Ability to learn industry plumbing standards.

• Determine the right tools and equipment necessary to complete the job successfully.
• Must learn industry-relevant building codes and regulations for the installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems.
• Measure, cut, and bend pipe material.
• Must be on the jobsite at the required time.
• Attend all safety meetings.
• Follow the instructions given by on-site leadership.
• Cleaning the job site after the work is completed.

An Apprentice Plumber I is responsible for assembling pipes, cleaning the water supply, handling tools, and cleaning job sites. The Apprentice Plumber can expect to assist in complex jobs and handle smaller jobs on their own. This position requires travel as needed.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• OSHA 10 Certification required.
• No experience necessary but preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Use hand(s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
• Reach with hand(s) and arm(s).
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
