Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is hiring a Plumbing Apprentice in West Palm Beach, FL to begin an on-the-job training journey with a licensed Plumbing Journeyman. This role offers a clear career path to become a Plumbing Journeyman and potentially lead larger projects.

You will assist in multifamily and commercial plumbing installations, learn to install water supply and drainage systems, and meet plumbing codes while attending required classes in our apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to enroll and participate in a mechanical apprenticeship program.
• Able to physically perform the essential functions of the job.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a licensed Plumbing Journeyman and receive on-the-job training to become a Journeyman.
• Assist in performing multifamily and commercial plumbing installations.
• Learn and perform all scopes of large-scale projects, including water supply and drainage systems and setting fixtures.
• Participate in an official apprenticeship program and attend classes as required.
• Adhere to plumbing codes and construction safety requirements.
