Job summary

A to Z Dependable Services is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to join our on‑the‑road team. You will read blueprints, cut and install pipes, diagnose and fix water and drainage issues, and service domestic appliances as needed.

The role emphasizes a strong work ethic, good communication, patience, and a valid Plumbing Apprentice License. Pay ranges from $17–$20 per hour with incentives, and full‑time on‑site shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma from a trade school preferred.
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Friendly with a great deal of patience.
• Plumbing Apprentice License (required).

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply systems.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes while considering existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring).
• Install and maintain water supply systems.
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g., leaks).
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets, and similar fixtures.
• Repair domestic appliances (e.g., washing machines) and associated fixtures (e.g., sinks).
• Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (e.g., air‑conditioning units, radiators).
• Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well‑functioning DWV systems.

Work Details

• Pay: $17‑20/hr plus incentives.


• Job Type: Full‑time.


• Shift: 8‑hour day shift (Monday to Friday, on call, overtime, weekends as needed).
